Two garages.
One ceiling
everybody noticed.
In Week 9 of The Block 2025, Han & Can and Robby & Mat both turned their garages into showrooms. Nine's official supplier lists credit HEXA Lighting for the hexagon ceilings in both.
A back of house
that became a showroom.
Week 9 was the Back of House reveal: laundry, pantry and mud room. In two houses the garage quietly stole the episode. Nine's own write up called House 2's a "showroom-style garage" that "stops the judges in their tracks", and described Han's garage as her passion project.
Han & Can went
all in on the garage.
Down to a tight budget after failing to finish Week 8, Han and Can put everything into Back of House. The garage was Han's passion project: matte black walls, a chequerboard floor, a race mural, and a full hexagon ceiling grid overhead.
Nine called them
the bee hive lights.
Robby and Mat ran a different play. Where House 2 went black and theatrical, House 5 kept the garage pale and let the ceiling do the talking. Nine's supplier list credits HEXA twice here: a Double Garage system and a Large Double Garage system.
The result is the shot everyone screenshotted: a vintage MGB beside a modern MG with its doors up, both sitting under a honeycomb of light.
